What classical style songs can I learn to play on guitar?
I play the electric guitar and the (steel-string) acoustic guitar. I mainly use rock and blues techniques in my lead playing. While I don’t intend to fully master classical guitar, I would like to incorporate classical techniques into my lead playing. Additionally, Are there any classical songs from which I could learn such techniques?
Recommendations to any period (Baroque, Romantic, etc.) are welcome.
Hi!
I played this piece with my string ensemble:
It was originally made for the mandolin. It’s not exactly classical, it’s baroque, sorry!
I didn’t really look to see if you could pull any techniques, but if it’s something you’ve never played before, you can definitely get something out of it!
Hope this helps
