What is the best method book to teach children electric guitar?
There are lots of very good method books for learning classical guitar but I can’t find any which teach the electric techniques and also reading music. Thanks 
The Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer
Got my young lad this book from my local Rainbow Music shop at £16.99. His teacher told me to get this one because it’s the best one to learn from. Rather than the teacher repeating himself by writing chords down etc… he can make use of this book.

Try "Play in a Day" by Bert Weedon, if it’s still around. It helped me back in the sixties!!!
