Classical Guitar Online Lessons Academy

I am learning to play piano and guitar, I recently gave up learning to play electric guitar to focus on Classical guitar (which came more naturally but was also more of a challenge), but now i’m struggling with it because as with piano (which i have only been learning 6 months compared to 15 months for guitar) and electric guitar, the boring method stuff I can/could handle because i would always be learning something along side that I know and love to keep me interested (eg – ‘My Heart will go on’ for piano and famous riffs – ‘Seven Nation Army’ for electric). Bit I’m seriously considering packing in guitar completely because I can’t find, and my teacher wont help me find, something I want, and am able to do on classical guitar???? Just something Grade 1 standard but that is popular??? And not just strumming chords either. Any advice? I really dont want to give up but need something to WANT to do!!! Thanks.

popular music and classical guitar don’t really go hand in hand.
since a lot of modern popular music is just a ‘strum n sing’ type of music, and classical guitar its name is the giveaway is about playing classical music

you can take a popular tune you like and teach yourself/work out the melody line to it.
at least that way you get practice on working things out and developing your musical ear.
take a tune you like and know, work out the key it is in, find the melody and play along to it…..

Or you can learn to read Guitar tab and look at the many tab sites and find things there.?

if you have been playing for 15 months why give up and waste all the effort you have put in already.?
