Opinion on Method of Restringing a Classical Guitar?

Websites such as the one linked below usually give the "twisted" (my term) method for securing classical guitar strings to the bridge, but this website recommends the "knot" method with plastic gaskets or beads. As this knot method seems easier and this is both my first guitar and my first restringing of anything, I’d rather do it that way. But, I’d like to know what the lovely guitar experts here think…is it worth doing the harder way, or will knotting the strings suffice for a very, very beginner?

two methods outlined:

Either will work for you now. Personally, I prefer the "twisted" (good term!) method. If your knot ever slips…. EEEK!!!

Best option, try both.

If this is your first time restringing your guitar, you should take it to your local music store and have a professional string it for you. Politely ask if you may watch while he/she explains the process. The next time your guitar needs new strings, you’ll know the hows and whys of what you are doing. Good luck!
