Any good websites for a classical guitar beginner to learn?

Hi I like to learn the Classical Guitar , and im looking for a website that teach from the basic steps of classical guitar tecniques. I know how to play chords and I would like to develop what i know to the classical guitar area. Any good websites for a classical guitar beginner to learn?

I’m in a similar situation, I’ve played for decades on the electric but classical is a whole new thing. A teacher is ALWAYS the best option, but if you can’t get one (I know I can’t afford one heh), I suggest you buy an instructional video. Classical technique really is hard, and it’s important you develop as little mistakes as possible. Sadly, all by yourself that’s a thing hard to achieve.
Scott Tennant’s instructional, Pumping Nylon, is really a very good video.

There aren’t really good classical guitar sites out there, I would suggest reading guitar books over the internet, because music books goes more in dept in the subject of classical guitar rather than the internet giving you alot of BS advice from non-professionals to only screw you over and lessen you developement of the art of playing guitar. Buy books and listen to alot of classical guitar music if you really want to learn how to play the classical guitar.

I’ve been playing bass for 3 years and guitar for almost 1. When i began i used http://www.wholenote.com they have lots of free lessons posted by users. I’ve always found that site really helpful.

I’d really recommend having lessonswith a proper teacher. Even if you already play rock or something, the techniques are so different, hand position etc, that you’d be well advised to learn the basics properly. I speak from personal experience on this.
